Over 100 international exhibitors will attend London Halal Food Festival is set to take place at London's Tobacco Dock, on 19 and 20 August. This year's edition promises to gather around an estimated 18,000 people.

The organizers have announced that the festival includes live cooking demonstrations from famous chefs, such as Abdul Yaseen, Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed or Shelina Permallo.

"The professionals from AHDB will be showcasing everything you ever needed to know to master your meat skills. From choosing the best cuts and mastering your butchery skills, to the best marinades to use and the best way to cook and serve," according to the festival's website.

In addition, international industry leader Anzcofoods specialists in high quality New Zealand halal beef & lamb will provide burger samples.

Furthermore, the festival will include halal eating contests.

At London Halal Food Festival's 2016 edition participated over 12,000 people and the festival "brought together variety of cultural foods showcasing up to 30 different halal cuisines from the globe."

According to the festival's website, the festival also provides a platform for multiple halal businesses within the UK to engage and access the wider halal economy.
