JBS tops ranking in the main categories of the food industry

For the second consecutive time, there were best individual awards for the company’s CEO, CFO and Investor Relations Officer.

JBS tops ranking in the main categories of the food industry

The executive officers of JBS have been acknowledged, for the second consecutive time, as the best CEO, CFO and investor relations professional within the food and beverage industry of Latin America by one of the leading financial market publications, Institutional Investor. The result strengthens the consistent work of JBS in its relationships with the financial market and investors.

The individual award for Best CEO went to Gilberto Tomazoni, while Guilherme Cavalcanti received Best CFO. Both retained the leadership position they obtained last year. The same occurred in the “Best IR Program” category, which was once again awarded to JBS. Executive officer Christiane Assis was considered the best IR professional. Her team, the best in investor relations. The Board of Directors of JBS also took first place in the category. In addition, the company was among the 49 classified as "Most Honored", taking into account all operating sectors analyzed by the Institutional Investor Latin America awards.

The rankings are based on votes of more than 1100 market professionals, bearing in mind 19 sectors. For the Best Investor Relations Program, the companies were evaluated in 8 performance attributes: (1) Consistency, (2) Granularity, (3) Time-to-market , (4) Authority and credibility, (5) Business and market knowledge, (6) Results teleconference, (7) Response time and (8) Virtual meetings/presentations.
