China authorizes beef imports from Belarus
OAO Veles-Meat and OAO Mogilev Meat Packing Plant have received approval to export beef to the Chinese market.
The current visit is part of the Belarusian authorities' efforts to further develop the agricultural trade relationship with China.
According to BelTA, the Belarusian Embassy in China announced that the two ministries signed a cooperation plan until 2020 during a meeting held on 11 December.
Furthermore, BelTA reports after this successful meeting Belarus has officially become the first country in the CIS and the 13th in the world to have received authorization to supply beef to China.
