Tyson reveals $355 million investment in a pork processing unit

The facility, whose construction cost amounts to $355 million, will have dimensions of more than 37,000 square meters and will employ 450 people. The new plant is expected to come online at the end of 2023.
With this project, Tyson intends to satisfy the demand for pork foodservice and thus comply with its strategy of accelerating the growth of this product in line with its consumption trends.
The new facility will also have the latest robotic technologies to improve production efficiency and the safety of all its workers. On the other hand, the main products to be produced are Wright Brand and Jimmy Dean foods, two of the company's most iconic brands.
