Turkey has reported a decline of 2.1% in its chicken meat production in October compared to a year ago, according to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).

Turkey's poultry production reports decline in October

On the other hand, the chicken egg production reported an increase of 2.1% in the mentioned period.

Compared to the previous month, chicken meat production was up 9.6%. The egg production also increased by 4.6%.

The turkey meat production was also up 14.6% in October this year compared to the same month in 2017 but decreased by 3.8% on a monthly basis.
