Tentamus Group acquires Southern Microbiological Services

German company Tentamus Group, present in Europe, UK, Israel, China and the USA, with over 50 locations worldwide, is expanding its services in the British market by acquiring Southern Microbiological Services (SMS).
Tentamus Group does tests, audits and consults on food & feed, pharmaceuticals & medical, agrochemicals, cosmetics, agriculture & environment and nutraceutical & supplements. SMS is an independent laboratory testing business based in Wellington, Somerset, employing more than 30 people.

SMS was founded in 1989, with a focus on microbiology and chemistry testing services for the food, cosmetics and supplements industry. Also, SMS is a Tesco and M&S approved laboratory. "
