We are confident in a highly anticipated reopening from the whole island and in particular from the world of the countryside", declared the president of the Region, Christian Solinas .
"It is probably - says the commissioner Mario Nieddu- the last meeting before the vote for the modification of the current restrictions, on which the technical committee of which the representatives of the member states will be called to express its opinion in mid-December ".
"Sardinia has respected all the requests made by Brussels, through a difficult path, which cost great sacrifices. The cancellation of the embargo on exports of animals and pork is a step that the island has been waiting for a long time and which in the light of the results achieved must be agreed without any more hesitation", concludes commissioner Nieddu.
