MULTIVAC to receive an important industry award al Anuga FoodTec 2018

MULTIVAC's X-line thermoforming packaging machines are going to be awarded this year with the Gold International FoodTec distinction for the level of high technology included in this product.

The X-line generation uses digitalisation, comprehensive sensor system and networking with the MULTIVAC Cloud to create a new dimension in the fields of packaging reliability, quality and performance. The thermoforming packaging machines benefit from a level of sensor control never achieved before being able to verify a wide range of process values, such as for example for forming, evacuation and sealing.

Also, MULTIVAC Pack Pilot technology it is able to set the machine parameter to the optimum operating point in case of new recipes created. This means that the machine can be used even without special operator knowledge. A new die generation called X-tools guarantees the lowest operating costs in the market. The X-tools have an extensive range of innovations in their design, sensor system and actuating features. They enable shorter evacuation times to be achieved and therefore contribute to higher cycle outputs.

Also, the X-line has been equipped with an innovative operating concept, the intuitive HMI 3 Multi-Touch user interface, this type of technology improving the control of equipment.

The X-line new generation of machines was selected by a jury made up of international experts from the world of science and research as well as from representatives of industry to receive the renowned Technology Award.
