Japan will start importing poultry products from Turkey
Sumitomo is the first Japanese company to start importing chicken products from Turkey after Japan's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has announced it has given the approval for the import of Turkish chicken last year in September, AsianAgribiz reported.
According to AsianAgribiz, prices for chicken produced in Ukraine are 20% lower than those for chicken meat produced in Japan.
The Japanese company expects annual sales between $22.9 million and $27.5 million in the next few years.
