Hong Kong authorities to inspect Brazilian slaughterhouses
Four slaughterhouses will be audited in the state of São Paulo between 11 December and 14 December. The authorities from Hong Kong will also visit the National Agricultural and Livestock Laboratory (Lanagro), in Campinas, São Paulo.
Luís Rangel, Secretary of Agricultural Defense of the Map, said that "Hong Kong is a great market for Brazilian meat. Despite the problems with Brazilian meat in 2017, the country was one of the most understanding clients.
