Gulfood Dubai closed with very good prospects for Argentine beef

The event demonstrated growing interest from buyers from many Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya and the United Arab Emirates, among others, and also from other purchasing decision-makers from Europe, China and Russia.

In this regard, given the large number of contacts made by Argentine exporters, growth in exports with Halal certification is expected in the coming months.

From the institutional point of view, the IPCVA had a very important meeting agenda, receiving national delegations and delegations from the provinces of Santa Fe and Córdoba at the stand. Meetings organized by the Argentine Ambassador in that country, Jorge Molina Arambarri, were also held, in which different business groups linked to the issue of logistics and distribution in Arab countries were received.

A strategic meeting was also held with Dr. Tharwat Mahmoud AlBataineh, from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, who is in charge of enabling plants to export to that destination. It was a technical meeting in which the companies were able to resolve different issues related to the authorization of plants.

For participation in this strategic fair, the IPCVA developed the Argentine Beef Pavilion on an area of 100 square meters, with a tasting area and individual modules for exporters.

The companies that accompanied the Institute were the following: Frimsa, Frigorífico General Pico, Azul Natura Beef, Frigorífico Rioplatense, Offal Exp, Compañía Bernal, Catter Meat, Abuelo Julio, Frigorífico Gorina, Friar, Santa Giulia, Logros and Arrebeef.
