Brazilian chicken meat exports reached 463.1 thousand tons in July

ABPA said the figure reported in July is the largest monthly shipment flow ever recorded in the history of the sector.

In terms of value, the chicken meat exports generated revenues of $711.6 million, a performance of 15.7% above that reached in July last year.

"The record number of exports is due to the reestablishment of shipment levels in ports after the end of the roadblocks, as well as the normalization of data flow in the new MDIC information collection system. At the same time, it shows a rapid response of the sector to the support of the Government, after the impacts of the truck drivers' strike, " Francisco Turra, president of ABPA, explained.
