Brazil: Chicken meat exports increase 13.8 percent in March
Revenue generated by exports also recorded a positive performance, reaching US$ 889.9 million, 18.5% higher than the US$ 751.3 million obtained in the same period of the previous year.
With this result, the sector has accumulated a total of 1,387 million tons exported in the first quarter of 2025, 13.7% above the volume shipped in the first three months of 2024, with 1,220 million tons. In terms of revenue, growth is even more expressive, with US$ 2,587 billion obtained in the period, compared to US$ 2,142 billion in the same period last year – an increase of 20.8%.
Among the main export destinations in March, China maintained its leadership, with 46.4 thousand tons shipped – a volume 19.3% higher than that recorded in the same month of 2024. The following appear:
In terms of performance by state, Paraná remains the largest national exporter, with 192.3 thousand tons shipped in March (+11.6% compared to the same period last year). Next are:
"The average monthly chicken meat exports remained above 460 thousand tons in this first quarter, which is unprecedented in the history of the sector and indicates that ABPA's initial projections for this year will probably be exceeded.
