The National Service for Food Safety and Quality (Senasa) announced the opening of the Ecuadorian market for the export of bone-in beef.

The operational work plans for these operations and the health certificate for the export of Argentine meat were agreed upon during a meeting held in Buenos Aires between the president of Senasa, Pablo Cortese, and the executive director of the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Regulation and Control Agency (Agrocalidad) of Ecuador, Patricio Almeida.

So far in 2024, Senasa has certified that the export of bone-in beef totals 106,251 tons certified for export, with China as its main destination.
