ANICE prepares Brexit document for its members

ANICE (The National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain) members have access to a document that clarifies their doubts in case of no-deal Brexit or for the eventuality of achieving Withdrawal Agreement.
Prepared by the Export Department of the National Association of Meat Industries of Spain the document follows the question and answer scheme to address issues such as:
- Customs formalities;
- Documentary controls;
- Possible additional technical requirements;
- Authorization of establishments;
- Quality marks and figures, etc.
"There are many doubts that meat companies have about what will happen after midnight on March 29. If a Withdrawal Agreement is achieved before, we will enter a transitional period of at least 21 months, which will not cause major commercial problems, but if, on the contrary, no agreement is reached, there will be no transition period and we will find ourselves before a complex Hard Brexit", says the document.
