ALDI SÜD: The fresh food counter only contains organic sausages

In the fresh food counter at ALDI SÜD, customers receive fresh sausage and cheese products at the best price every day - even without service. From now on, all sausage items in the fresh food counter are only available in husbandry form 4. This makes ALDI SÜD a pioneer among discounters and takes another important step with the change of attitude.

ALDI SÜD: The fresh food counter only contains organic sausages

In all 2,000 ALDI SÜD branches, customers can discover the fresh food counters in the refrigerated section. In a new design, similar to a market stall, high-quality organic sausage and cheese specialties are offered. From organic mountain cheese with hay milk to organic salami, there is a variety of fresh products for every taste at the best price. ALDI SÜD pays attention to particularly resource-saving packaging and can also call itself the No. 1 retailer of organic fresh meat and organic sausages .

"ALDI SÜD is the first discounter to exclusively offer sausage products of the highest quality in the fresh food counter. In doing so, we are keeping our promise to offer customers good quality at the best price in the long term," says Erik Döbele, Managing Buying Director.

With the change of attitude, ALDI has set out to transform German livestock farming towards more animal welfare together with everyone involved in the value chain. By 2030, ALDI will gradually convert the entire range of fresh meat and drinking milk as well as chilled meat and sausage products to the more animal-friendly forms of husbandry 3 and 4.
