ABPA promotes SIAVS during IPPE 2025

During IPPE, ABPA representatives will publicize business opportunities and interaction with the Brazilian production sector at the International Poultry and Swine Fair (SIAVS), the largest technical, political and commercial event for production chains in Brazil, which will take place from August 4 to 6, 2026, at Anhembi Parque, in São Paulo.

"IPPE is essential to further boost the internationalization of SIAVS, which, in its last edition, was attended by representatives from more than 60 countries. In addition, our presence at the event in Atlanta is strategic to strengthen ties with the production chains with which we work in a complementary manner. It is also an excellent opportunity to align challenges that directly impact all production centers", says Santin.

In parallel with the event, ABPA President Ricardo Santin will participate in an agenda with members of the sector from several continents, during the meeting of the World Poultry Council, an entity of which he is vice-president. The meeting will discuss issues and challenges shared by producing nations, such as the implementation of strategies to prevent and combat Avian Influenza. It is important to highlight that Brazil has never recorded outbreaks of the disease in its commercial production.

Biosecurity is also on the agenda of the meetings of the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA). Santin, who is also the entity's vice president, will address unified actions against Avian Influenza, in addition to technical and situational issues that impact poultry producers in the member countries of the continental entity.
