ABPA hopes to increase sales of Brazilian food by $780 million

23 Brazilian companies representing sectors such as animal farming, pork, poultry and eggs were presented at the Anuga trade fair in Cologne, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).
Contracts worth $110 million were signed during the fair but the gain of participation may worth more than that. According to surveys made by the association, the participating agribusinesses project more than $780 million in business, from the 2,700 contacts made during the fair.

“The international market is highly in demand for animal protein, which was remarkable during the five days of our action in Germany. In addition to generating business, the action has a special character as it also strengthens links with partners from Europe and around the world, ”says Francisco Turra, president of ABPA.
ABPA is responsible for managing, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, the four sectoral brands of Brazilian poultry, egg and pork exports: Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg, Brazilian Breeders and Brazilian Pork.
