Severe restrictions, the high rate of infection among employees and the risk of suffocation of the sanitary system are the main reasons invoked by the exhibiting companies regarding the decision to withdraw from the exhibition.
"Following a survey conducted among exhibitors, but also of professional visitors who participate to CARNEXPO, we decided to postpone the exhibition for the next year in a period without serious health problems and restrictions. The safety of CARNEXPO's customers and visitors is very important to us and we understand the responsibility we have as organizers, especially since we do not want to endanger the health of our partners or their families. It is not an easy decision considering the preparatory work we have done this year and the fact that we are for the second consecutive year put in a position to postpone an event of such magnitude, with over 60,000 visitors", said Eugen Capra, organizer of CARNEXPO.
Although the current situation does not allow the organization of large events, the organizer of the exhibition, Eugen Capra invites CARNEXPO partners to remain optimistic in preparing for the events that will take place in 2022:
"We are working on several important projects for the development of the agri - food sector next year, both for the Romanian market, but also a project involving the organization of an event at European level.
We also assure all our partners that we will continue to be with them through the information we bring every day through the Meat Industry, AGROFOOD and EuroMeatNews magazines ".
CARNEXPO, the largest exhibition dedicated to the meat and animal husbandry industry in Southeast Europe was last organized in 2019, in partnership with Romexpo and was a record edition, with more than 15,000 square meters of exhibition space, over 745 exhibitors and over 60,000 visitors.
